Using Block Quotations

A lengthy quotation—one four lines or more of text is typed as a "block quotation," or independent passage indented on the left margin. Rules:
*it appears immediately following the paragraph introducing the quotation.
*last sentence of the paragraph before the block quotation ends with a colon, then drop down a line in your text—as if beginning a new paragraph—before typing the quotation.
